For the past sixty years, springtime at Lipscomb has meant Singarama, as more than 17,000 students have participated in this popular student musical. It is impossible to measure on an individual basis the sense of accomplishment, memories, and friendships that alums can attribute to Singarama.
We are so excited to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary this year and announce our new partnership with the College of Entertainment and the Arts. Starting this year, Singarama will be produced by the Office of Community Life and the College of Entertainment and the Arts.
This spring, we present "Singarama: the Diamond Anniversary," – featuring stories from the phrases: "Diamond in the Rough," "No Pressure, No Diamonds," and "Shine Bright Like a Diamond."
Armed only with their category, the students develop storylines, write scripts, choose 8-10 songs, choreograph, and create sets and costumes. The shows, evaluated by a panel of judges, compete in five categories (Entertainment, Vocals, Theme, Visual Elements, and Choreography). Join the fun as we celebrate the 60th season of this treasured Lipscomb tradition!
Special instructions: Since it is all mobile ticketing this year, you must purchase tickets in advance, and all ticket sales are cashless. We will sell no tickets at the door.
