This December, spend some quality time with The Bat, The Cat and The Penguin and celebrate the 30th anniversary of a film that's like catnip to us.
The monstrous Penguin (Danny DeVito), who lives in the sewers beneath Gotham, joins up with wicked shock-headed businessman Max Shreck (Christopher Walken) in an effort to topple the Batman (Michael Keaton) once and for all.
But when Shreck's timid assistant, Selina Kyle (Michelle Pfeiffer), finds out, and Shreck tries to kill her, she is transformed into the slinky Catwoman. She teams up with the Penguin and Shreck to destroy Batman, but sparks fly unexpectedly when she confronts the caped crusader.
All these years later, "Batman Returns" stands out as a truly auteur-driven comic book film with a gorgeous visual style, a fantastic Danny Elfman score and, for many, the iconic screen versions of Catwoman and The Penguin.
You'd have to be positively "Batty" to miss this screening!
