After losing his job and girlfriend, video gamer and army veteran Chuck (Bryan Sanders) sets out to repair the relationships in his life. On his way to redemption, the unthinkable happens: his nieces are kidnapped. Chuck is forced to resurrect his military training and track down the culprits. As Chuck battles to discover the truth, he is continually haunted by his inner demons. On this adventure, Chuck battles crazy drug dealers, hippie protesters, a mad scientist, occultists, and the Devil himself!
This action-adventure film is full of video game and pop culture references. Co-stars Benjamin Wood (Escape Plan) and Laura Kirkpatrick (Tyra Bank’s America’s Next Top Model). Features the special voice talents of Mojo Nixon (Super Mario Bros. Movie), Tom Sullivan (Evil Dead, The Fly II), Milton Knight (Kool World, Sonic the Hedgehog) Matt Forbeck (Brave New World: Revolution), and Jon St. John (Duke Nukem, Sonic Adventure).
Papercut 2 was first released in 2013 and has since grown into a multi-platform story that includes two short films and a self-published four-part comic book series. Come celebrate independent filmmaking in Kentucky. The screening will conclude with a Q&A with Director/Producer/Actor Bryan Sanders.
