The Shows So Far: A Theatrical Scrapbook

In this one-night event, Broadway performer and Billboard Award-winning EMI recording artist, Christia Mantzke sings some of her favorite songs from productions over her past thirty years as an entertainer. She will share vocal snapshots of her theatrical career, along with stories from the road. With songs like “Proud Mary”, “I Get a Kick Out of You”, and “I Don’t Know How to Love Him”, you will be tapping your feet, singing, laughing, and perhaps shedding a few tears as you go along this musical walk down memory lane. Come see the performer that critics have raved can ” ..sing notes that have yet to be invented” and hailed as “a sheer pleasure to watch.”

Christia Mantzke is a life-long entertainer who loves bringing joy to audiences wherever she goes. A multi-hyphenate performer, she has done everything from starring on the Broadway stage to launching her recording career that led to a Top 20 song in three countries and the privilege of performing for our troops on her own USO tour.

Over the past thirty years she has performed in almost a hundred shows in theaters on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and in National Tours of the United States and around the world. Her favorite credits include Fame, Smokey Joes Cafe´, Beehive, Les Mise´rables, Elton John’s Elaborate Lives: Aida, and My Way: The Music of Frank Sinatra.

As a recording artist, Christia is a Billboard Award winning singer/songwriter who was featured on EMI Music’s compilation Only Girls 7 along with such artists as Janet Jackson and Kylie Minogue, and has sung back up for Barry Manilow and The Righteous Brothers. She is thrilled to share a sample of her life and times in the theater with the people of the Coachella Valley and the Coachella Valley Repertory!
