When Highlands Performing
Arts Center hosts its Satulah Mountain Home & Garden Tour,
you can bet that it’ll be one of the best you’ve seen.
The tour set for
July 20-22, 10:00am and then afternoon sessions beginning at 12:30 pm ending
3:00pm, will spotlight five homes and gardens found on Historic Satulah
Mountain, some never before opened to the public. The homes represent a wide
variety of architectural designs and interiors. The two gardens are considered
among the finest in the region, with mature native and introduced plant
species.
There are three days available, each
offering either a morning tour at 10:00am or
afternoon tour at 12:30pm with shuttles running from the PAC every
15min starting at 9:45am and the last shuttle departing the PAC at 2:00pm. The
Satulah Home Tour days are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, July 20,
21, 22. Tickets are $125 each for one tour session. Please note the
last entrance to a home is 2:30pm.
There will be no cars
allowed on Satulah.
This is a
walking tour so wear good walking shoes; rain or shine event. Golf
cart rides will be available for those requiring assistance.
