Acclaimed filmmaker Richard Brauer's moving story of a farmer (portrayed by screen legend Ernest Borgnine) who protects his cherished farm from developers through land conservation.Following the film, in a rare joint appearance, Grand Traverse Regional Conservancy director Glen Chown and Leelanau Conservancy director Tom Nelson will outline how land stewardship protects irreplaceable parcels that are critical to the character of our region, preserving them for future generations. Producer/director Brauer will also be on hand to introduce the film and answer questions.
