1981- A brilliant blend of horror and humor, this film has become a cult classic. Director John Landis was best known for comedy, (The Blues Brothers and Animal House) so he brought his comedic talent to the horror genre and the result is pure genius. Two years after this film was released Michael Jackson hired Landis to direct his "Thriller" music video.
