Paris, 1981: celebrations spill out onto the street on election night. An air of hope and change courses throughout the city, but the future doesn’t look rosy for Elisabeth (Charlotte Gainsbourg)–her marriage is ending, and she’ll have to support herself and her two teenage children. However, things start to look up when she finds a job working for a late-night radio call-in host (Emmanuelle Béart). Through this new job, Elisabeth encounters Talulah (Noée Abita), a troubled young woman who moves in, forever changing the trajectory of everyone in the family. (KimStim)
