Enjoy the Sturgis Historical Society Cemetery Tours without having to walk far!  Dinner with the Dead brings the Cemetery Tours to the Sturges-Young Beck Ballroom Stage for a one night only performance that supports the Sturgis Historical Society!  Explore Sturgis History with costumed performers delivering accounts of the lives of the people buried in Oaklawn Cemetery in this seated presentation in the Beck Ballroom.  Hear from those whose Legacy lives on in Sturgis through established industry and civic contributions. Enjoy tasty delights from Hip padders catering and Tasteful Kreations, or skip the meal and purchase a perforamance-only ticket.  Dinner and show tickets are $42 and performance only tickets are $15.  Theis event is presented by the Sturgis Historical Society, in collaboration with Sturges-Young Center for the Arts and the Sturgis Civic Players. Following the walking tours, join us for “Dinner with the Dead” at 6 p.m. on September 23rd hosted in the Beck Ballroom at the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts. This fundraising event is part of our ongoing effort to preserve local history and bring our town’s heritage to life in a unique way. Enjoy dinner, drinks, and live music while you learn about the lives of some of Sturgis’ most distinguished citizens. Actors will perform to patrons on the stage while enjoying a meal prepared by local caterers.
