CatVideoFest 2023 is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. CatVideoFest 2023 is a joyous communal experience, only available in theaters, and raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local animal welfare organizations.
This year we are partnering with Halfway Home Rescue, Inc. The volunteers from Halfway Home will have some of their favorite felines in our lobby for all three SAT, SEP 2 screenings of CatVideoFest 2023. And we will be donating a portion of every ticket sold to support their efforts.
Due to popular demand, we are also presenting encore screenings on SUN, SEP 3 and MON, SEP 4. Alas, the kittens will be home taking much needed naps on those two days.
So if you love cats and you love cat videos, be sure to come to The Kentucky Theatre and help up support the good works of Halfway Home Rescue!

Halfway Home Rescue, Inc. is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit operated by an all-volunteer team of administrators, caretakers, and fosters in Lexington and the surrounding areas. Their mission is made possible through the support of volunteers and the donation of funds and supplies from the public. All donations go directly to the care and support of the animals with Halfway Home Rescue or to assist with their multi-community outreach and TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) programs, which help to educate the public on and reduce companion animal overpopulation issues.
