Emerging filmmakers from Wide Angle Youth Media bring fresh perspectives to the screen in this collection of short films. From poetry to advocacy, they emphasize the power of diverse artistic voices. Venture into the cultural fabric of Maryland via an adaptation of the poetry of Amanda Gorman, stories that uplift Latinx expereiences and a series highlighting folklife artists, supported by the Maryland State Arts Council. Through Media arts education, Wide Angle Youth Media collaborates with and amplifies the voices of Baltimore youth to engage audiences across social divides. Since 2000, Wide Angle Youth Media has worked with over 7,770 youth from across Baltimore City who have produced thousands of media projects about their lives and communites.
