"The Fiddling Thomsons are a father and son duo from Lee, New Hampshire, who have performed together for over 20 years. They play a large repertoire of Celtic dance music on instruments including fiddles, accordion, Irish pennywhistle, banjo, guitar, and other instruments. They are the winners of the 2023 New Hampshire Governor’s Award for Folk Heritage. They play tunes including jigs, reels, hornpipes, aires, and more. They have performed throughout New England and to other far away places such as California, England, China, and Grand Turk Island. They also teach music, play for dances, and lead educational workshops.”
