This new documentary, directed by Dan Horgan, produced by Bryant McBride and Burst, tells the story of parallel lives lived by two sports and social justice legends. Herb Carnegie (hockey) and Buck O’Neil (baseball) were iconic athletes excluded from playing in the highest professional leagues because of their race. They subsequently became champions for change and channeled their love for the game into work that made their respective sports, and the world, more inclusive.
A Community Spotlight discussion will commence at 7:30pm followed by the film screening, a Filmmaker Q&A and capped with the After Party at Emerald Loop Bar & Grill.
