The Organ Restoration Celebration event will bring our community together to enjoy a lost treasure. Originally, the Wurlitzer Organ was purchased in 1928 as a accompaniment to the silent films and vaudeville acts on the stage at The Granada Theater. As time would have it, the organ was sold and lost to the history of The Granada Theater. In 2015, The organ was found and brought back to the Theater. A small crew of various organizations have worked tirelessly on the project to bring it back to life. On April 20th, we celebrate this long journey of restoration. This organ is a brilliant piece of Southern West Virginian history. It's restoration has deep meaning for our community. Come and Celebrate with us!
