Rose, a 17-year-old Filipino-American teenager from Texas, dreams of becoming a country music icon. She has to fend for herself when her mother is arrested by ICE, and must choose between following her dreams without her mother or leaving her passions behind.

Yoko Nogami is an interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She lives in Letcher County and is an advocate for arts education accessibility for all.

GET HAAPI KY is a scrappy group of Lexington AAPI community members all volunteering their time to create a robust series of cultural events to celebrate AAPI Heritage Month in Lexington and the Bluegrass region.
