Dr. Bob Cargill addresses topics related to the bible, archaeology, ancient civilizations, religious plurality, and the common origins of all humankind. He is the author of The Cities that Built the Bible and Melchizedek, King of Sodom: How Scribes Invented the Biblical Priest-King. Dr. Cargill has also done extensive work in television, appearing as an expert on ABC's "Good Morning America", "Inside Edition", CNN's "Newsday", and served as a consultant and contributor for History's "Jesus: His Life," as the Jerusalem host for CNN's "Finding Jesus," Consulting Producer on History's "Bible Secrets Revealed" and hosting the NatGeo documentary "Writing the Dead Sea Scrolls." 
 
 
Bible and Archaeology believes through education and mutual respect for each other’s histories, heritages, and aspirations, together we can discover how knowledge of the past leads to a more peaceful and informed future. “Digging to Easter”, sponsored by UI of Office of Innovation, is an educational event with no partisan or political agenda. Join Dr. Cargill and the rest of the archaeology team for an in-depth exploration into the history of Holy Week.
