An ART ON SCREEN Film

ENO

Presented by The Kentucky Theatre and
the Singletary Center for the Arts

Q&A with Special Guest David Farris

"There’s a pure joy to this documentary, a sense that creativity is miraculous and we ought to be grateful that we get to participate in it."
New York Times

Musician, producer, and visual artist Brian Eno is an icon of the contemporary creative community. Known equally well as the "Father of Ambient Music" as well as collaborator with David Bowie and producer for the Talking Heads, U2, and Coldplay, Eno has left an indelible mark upon popular culture through his music, art, and artistic influence.

Gary Hustwit's generative documentary takes an innovative approach to exploring Eno's creative process by reconfiguring the scenes, elements, and sequence of the film each time it is shown, making each screening of ENO a singular experience.  The version of ENO we're screening on June 5, 2025 will be the only opportunity for audiences to see this specific iteration of the film, presented in partnership with the UK Singletary Center for the Arts as part of SCFA's "Season of Discovery."
