Join Nolte Academy at The James Theater for our public performances of Penny and The Wolf, as part of ICCSD's Any Given Child Program!
“Penny & The Wolf": a contemporary ballet inspired by Prokofiev’s classic Peter and the Wolf.”
This production is done in conjuction with the Iowa City Community School District and its Any Given Child Program. This program aims to expose young students to the world of dance and storytelling. Over the course of the week, every second grader in the district will field trip to The James Theater to enjoy this short 40 minute production. The students then get to ask questions to the direction team and dancers to learn about the process and how they might begin to explore dance and performance themselves. We look forward to sharing this show and program with the community!
