After getting discovered by a talent agent, Kermit the Frog sets out on a cross-country adventure to Hollywood! Along the way, he meets new friends who also want to enter show business, but, when a devious frog legs merchant goes after Kermit, he must rely on these new friendships to help him evade capture. Created after the success of the 1976 variety sketch comedy The Muppet Show, this musical road comedy marked the theatrical debut of Jim Henson’s Muppet characters, providing the origin story of iconic characters like Kermit, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and Miss Piggy.
