It’s
little known that Ansel Adams, in addition to his pioneering work in
photography and environmentalism, was a classically trained pianist. In April
of 1945, he recorded a small batch of albums for friends, which was comprised
of ten pieces by composers including Mozart, Scriabin, and Bach. Join the Biggs
and Delaware Division of the Arts Fellow and professional pianist Daniel
Carunchio for a lecture and performance of pieces from Adams’ album and other
related works.
