The Center for Rural Education at Virginia Tech is excited to serve as a local site partner for the Rural Assembly Everywhere 2026 convening!
On Wednesday, July 29th at 7:00pm, we will host an in-person watch party at the Lyric Theatre in Blacksburg, bringing neighbors, educators, organizers, and community leaders together to experience the virtual event and engage in meaningful discussions.
The program features rural authors, community organizers, educators, musicians, poets, and other inspiring voices from across the country.
During the watch party, attendees will enjoy an interactive viewing experience with opportunities for reflection throughout the evening as a local community. Admission is FREE, and each attendee will receive a complementary concessions ticket for a drink or popcorn/soda.
