BUZZ Watch Party stars Virginia Tech Marketing Students
Join us Sept. 23 at the Lyric Theatre to preview our newest BUZZ starring Virginia Tech marketing students providing the "buzz" for two local nonprofits! The show is free and open to all!
About the episode:
We usually spend most of a BUZZ highlighting a nonprofit while providing a little air time to the creative professionals who donate their time and talent helping the nonprofit attract more people to its cause.
But on today's show it's the marketing folks who take center stage as two Virginia Tech classes embrace the university motto "Ut Prosim" (That I May Serve.)
We go behind the scenes as professors Carolyn Kogan and Steve Matuszak in the Pamplin College of Business guide their Spring 2026 students to create marketing campaigns for the nonprofits Wilderness Adventure and the June Bug Center.
We thank Virginia Tech alumnus James Pearman of Partners in Financial Planning for underwriting this production
