Showings

Biggs Museum of American Art Sat, Apr 14, 2018 10:00 AM

Description

In an exciting partnership with First State Heritage Park, and Wesley College art professor, Joshua Nobiling, the Biggs will offer a special tour and watercolor workshop. Participants will take an architectural tour of the historic Green in downtown Dover, where they will study the styles and history reflected in the buildings around the park. This will be followed by a private viewing of works from the Biggs collection that depict historic architecture in Delaware. Afterwards, the group will get a chance to paint their own depiction of the Green during an en-plein-air watercolor workshop. Participants must bring their own supplies and a supply list will be emailed ahead of time. Pre-registration is required.

The rain date for this event is April 28th.
