Description

To further explore the Biggs’ special exhibition’s theme of “fake” Rembrandts, Wendy Bellion (University of Delaware’s Sewell C. Biggs Chair in American Art History) will offer a talk on famous instances of forgery. Dr. Bellion will discuss how experts identify fakes – and explore what forgeries teach us about our cultural ideas of art.
