Description

Looking to brush up on your Visual Arts Standards skills, bring a museum’s collection into your classroom, AND receive up to 12 clock hours? This is the workshop for you! During our 25th anniversary year, the Biggs Museum of American Art hopes to provide an opportunity for teachers and their students to experience its collection.achieve this, the Biggs and the Department of Education will provide a series of 3 professional learning workshops aligned to the Delaware arts standards with the expectation that 25 schools will “adopt” works of art and that teachers will create instructional tools that will support learning about these objects. These in class lessons can be supplemented by either an admission-free field trip to the museum or an in-school visit from the Biggs’ Staff.

Pre-registration is required and can be completed by emailing rlynch@biggsmuseum.org
