Join University of Delaware’s Professor of Art History, Dr. H. Perry Chapman for a talk related to Rembrandt’s representation of the nude model. Rembrandt has been lauded throughout time as a master etcher and draftsman, but his depictions of the nude figure were heavily criticized for their frankness and non-classical form. In this discussion, Dr. Chapman will contextualize these works within Rembrandt’s contemporaries and era. Pre-Registration is suggested.
