Although Audubon is best known for his prints, all of his most famous works were created from original watercolors. To explore Audubon’s signature technique, the Biggs is partnering with artist and instructor Heather Ossandon to offer a series of seven watercolor classes every Wednesday evening (6-8 pm) from September 12th through October 24th. These sessions will provide beginner and intermediate students the chance to learn the basics of watercolor painting, including techniques for painting still-lifes, animals, and landscapes. Instruction will also include drawing and use of watercolor and gouache. Suggested supply lists will be provided. Fee includes all seven classes. No individual classes are being offered.
Pre-Registration is required for this event and must be completed by September 7th.
Dates are as follows:
September 12th
September 19th
