Description

On the 26th of April, 2017, Oleg, a young man feeling broken and lost among the crowd at a techno-rave in Kiev, and tries to escape from reality. He meets a mysterious girl called Sasha, and at sunrise runs away and hops on a freight car, leaving the city and his life behind. The journey leads him to the Chernobyl exclusion zone. There, following his enchanting companion, Oleg experiences symbolic exploration of a post-apocalyptic world and faces death, searching the answer for inexpressible grief, which has been gnawing him from the inside. As sunlight transitions to starlight, he finds himself on top of “Duga”, a classified over-the-horizon radar system. At this moment Oleg has an epiphany, and gets a chance to rediscover himself.
