Wacky Trivia Night Part 2

Are you a trivia nut? Do you love silly, wacky fun? Then join us at Sturges- Young Center for the Arts on December 13th starting at 7PM for WACKY TRIVIA NIGHT hosted by none other than Craig Tornquist! When Craig did trivia night for our local COA christmas party two years ago, we knew we wanted him to come host for us. He has performed over 3,000 clean comedy acts across America, and now he will entertain you with his hillarious competition, his wacky outfits to his outrageously goofy prizes. This will surely be a night of laugher and fun, and FAMILY FRIENDLY! Included will be an appetizer buffet made by Hippadders Catering! There will also be a cash bar for all your adult beverage needs along with normal non alocholic drinks for the youngins who love trivia. We will see you December 13th 2024 at Sturges-Young Center for the Arts!

Miracle on 34th Street- 1947

SYCA will go back to a classic holiday film on December 19th! In this Christmas classic, an old man going by the name of Kris Kringle (Edmund Gwenn) fills in for an intoxicated Santa in Macy's annual Thanksgiving Day parade. Kringle proves to be such a hit that he is soon appearing regularly at the chain's main store in midtown Manhattan. When Kringle surprises customers and employees alike by claiming that he really is Santa Claus, it leads to a court case to determine his mental health and, more importantly, his authenticity

Sparkle and Shine Christmas Recital

Join us Friday December 20th at 6pm for the first recital of this kind. Doors open at 5PM with concessions by Sturges-Young Center for the Arts and help our team with a 50/50 Raffle, Christmas Raffle Baskets, and Door Prizes. Tickets are $10. True Grit's story of Tom Chaney (Jeff Corey) murdering the father of 14-year-old Mattie Ross (Kim Darby), she seeks vengeance and hires U.S. Marshal "Rooster" Cogburn (John Wayne), a man of "true grit," to track Chaney into Indian territory.
