EXHIBITION ON SCREEN open its fifth season with Canaletto & the Art of Venice, an immersive journey into the life and art of Venice’s famous view-painter. No artist better captures the essence and allure of Venice than Giovanni Antonio Canal, better known as Canaletto. The remarkable group of over 200 paintings, drawings and prints on display offer unparalleled insight into the artistry of Canaletto and his contemporaries, and the city he became a master at capturing. The film also offers the chance to step inside two official royal residences - Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle – to learn more about the artist, and Joseph Smith, the man who introduced Canaletto to Britain.

If you have talent, then the Park Theatre is looking for you! The Park Open Mic Night features local musicians, poets, and storytellers (and, maybe you?) Come perform, or listen to great music and stories on the second Wednesday of each month. We typically have  8 - 10 performers for two hours of fun and entertainment.  Each performer is asked to have an act that is usually 2-3 songs or 5-10 minutes in length. Our professional sound system typically includes 3 vocal mics, and a 2-channel  acoustic guitar amp. Bands and groups are welcome.    Open Mic Night is the Second Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm. Ryan Hood is a singer/songwriter from Royalston, MA. Ryan has been performing for audiences all over New England and beyond for over 30 years. Covering many of the greats like James Taylor, Elton John, Billy Joel, Jim Croce and so many more, Ryan brings a soft, smooth vibe to any crowd, with a hint of excitement when the occasion calls for it. An occasional original song rounds out Ryan’s repertoire, leaving listeners hungry for more!

In 2024, the long-thought lost 16mm reels of Tom Petty in Cameron Crowe’s first film, “Heartbreakers Beach Party”, were finally found. The classic ‘80s documentary captures Tom Petty and the band in 1982-1983 as they finish, promote, and tour around the “Long After Dark” album (their final with legendary producer Jimmy Iovine). After its initial airing on MTV in 1983, the film was deemed too experimental and abruptly pulled from the air. In the more than 40 years since, it has become folklore to fans, musicians and within the entertainment industry - even credited with inspiring scenes in Spinal Tap. Singer/songwriter Tom Ahlborn-Hsu has been playing favorite tunes for more than 40 years. Before Covid, Tom was playing coffee houses and clubs in northern California. He and his wife moved to Jaffrey in 2019.

Alice Howe and Freebo have worked as creative collaborators in the studio and on stage since 2017. Each a compelling performer in their own right, they both lead and support each other in their well-crafted songs with flawless harmonies and tasteful instrumentation. Freebo weaves his unique fretless bass stylings into Alice’s superb vocals for a presentation with undeniable chemistry. They will be joined by veteran LA session musician and Berklee School Of Music professor Marty Walsh on electric guitar and New Hampshire’s own Peter Whitehead on drums.

Actor James Whitmore originated the role in 1975. Clifton Truman Daniel took up the mantle in October of 2017, marking the first time in history a US president would be portrayed onstage by a direct descendant.
