In the “spirit” of America Recycles Day, the City of Modesto’s Solid Waste Division is partnering with the Stanislaus County Department of Environmental Resources in hosting an America Recycles Day event on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in the Historic State Theatre’s Jewel screening room in Downtown Modesto. We will be showing the award-winning environmental film, 2040 FREE of charge. Seating limited and reservations are required.
A three year self-described labour of love, 2040 takes the form of a visual letter from the filmmaker to his four-year-old daughter Velvet, showing her what the year 2040 could look like “if we simply embraced the best solutions that exist today.”
