Join us for a special evening to benefit the theater and its Cinema Classroom at the Avalon Student Film Education program on Sunday, May 4, 2025. We will begin with a reception at 5:00 PM followed by a program entitled "I'll Have What She's Having: A Celebration of Nora Ephron at the Movies" at 7:00 PM. Brooklyn-based writer and culture editor Ilana Kaplan, author of the book Nora Ephron at the Movies, will give an engaging multimedia presentation exploring the life and work of the visionary writer and director behind such films as When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle. All festivities will take place at the Avalon Theatre.
