You and your companions have tracked your missing horses to the infamous riverside tavern run by Osgood Shepard—a towering, sandy-haired scoundrel with a reputation for harboring horse thieves. Locals say Osgood’s so-called “guests” are rarely sober and never honest, and that stolen goods are ferried to secret hiding places. With a storm rolling in and the tavern seemingly empty, you’ve slipped inside to search for clues. Just as you climbed through the open window, a gust of wind slammed it shut, and the door is locked. You’re trapped. Osgood and his gang could return at any moment. Can you uncover the location of your stolen horses—and escape the tavern—before he finds you snooping where you don’t belong?
