Ernie Watkins is the chef and founder behind Konfucious Eats, Modesto’s first true ramen and Korean restaurant. Through handmade noodles, house-made broths, and authentic Korean cuisine, he introduced flavors to the community that had never before been available in the city. Opening Konfucious Eats was the realization of a long-held dream—to share his passion for Korean and Japanese food and show Modesto just how exceptional these cuisines can be.
Ernie is honored to continue showcasing Korean food to the people of Modesto. This special event features a full Korean dinner, including traditional banchan (Korean side dishes), along with several standout dishes that were favorites at Konfucious Eats. Guests will also enjoy a selection of recently discovered desserts that have become hugely popular.
