You can’t always get what you want, but that’s not the case in Curry Barker’s horrifying, twisted horror romance about the mild-mannered, permanently friend-zoned Bear (Michael Johnston) who utilizes a novelty gag gift to wish for Nikki (breakout Inde Navarrette) to love him more than anything else in the world. It doesn’t go well. Producer Christian Mercuri scheduled to attend for a post-screening Q&A on 4/18.
