BABETTE'S FEAST
Sunday, Dec 13, 2026 4:30 PM
Babette (Stéphane Audran) flees a troubled France and arrives at the doorstep of two pious sisters (Birgitte Federspiel and Bodil Kjer), devoted to their austere seaside congregation. A stroke of fortune allows Babette to repay their kindness and beguile their ascetic village with worldly pleasures. Gabriel Axel’s Oscar-winning classic is as much a divine ode to earthly delights as it is an expression of love through creation.
