Highlands Cashiers Film Festival 2026

Born from a love of film, creativity, and community, the Highlands–Cashiers Film Festival is an annual celebration of storytelling in all its forms. By bringing together filmmakers, media artists, and audiences from around the world, the festival creates a unique in-person experience where stories inspire, connect, and ignite conversation. All proceeds of the Highlands-Cashiers Film Festival goes right back to the community! The festival directly supports the Highlands Performing Arts Center and its mission to enrich our communities’ cultural and artistic life through diverse world-class performances, educational programs, and community engagement. PAC Educational Theatre

The PAC Educational Theatre is open to Students (5 and up) and Adults, regardless of their level of experience. PAC Educational Theatre strives to keep student fees low in order to serve as much of the Western North Carolina community as possible. Which means we need your help. Every dollar of your donation goes directly to help our students have the most professional training and production experience anywhere. Training in the Theatre Arts allows students to not only develop their skills as a Performer, but also develops life skills, teamwork, and dedication that extends far beyond simply "Putting on a Show".
