Join the Arizona Historical Society and Dr. Maurice Crandall for an installment of Arizona Histories, American Stories series celebrating Arizona's role in 250 years of American history.

As we reflect on 250 years since the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States, we naturally might wonder what was going on in Arizona at that time. This presentation explores the history of the era of the American Revolution through three things: the Pima Revolt of 1751; the Anza and Domínguez-Escalante Expeditions; and the Apache Peace Establishments. Just as it was a time of historical significance to the east, this was a consequential, even tumultuous, time in what would become Arizona.
