Join the Arizona Historical Society and Susan Croce Kelly for an installment of the Arizona Road Trip: Route 66 and Beyond series.
This talk will tell the story of how Route 66 came to be, what happened between 1926 when US Highway 66 and the National Highway System came into existence and 1956 when the Interstate Highway Act was passed, eliminating the need for the old National Highway System — and then what happened afterward.
